1050 aluminium contains a minimum of approximately 99.5% aluminium. It offers excellent formability, corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity. The soft O temper is commonly considered for deep drawing, spinning and cookware production.
1100 aluminium is commercially pure aluminium with excellent workability, weldability and conductivity. It is used for utensils, cookware, reflectors, electrical components and fabricated containers.
3003 aluminium provides higher strength than 1050 and 1100 while retaining good forming characteristics. It is commonly selected for cookware, containers, tanks, covers and general formed components.
5052 aluminium provides good corrosion resistance and higher strength. It is suitable for marine-related parts, covers, enclosures, tanks and fabricated components.
5083 aluminium is generally selected for higher-strength marine and heavy engineering components. It is more commonly supplied as thicker plate-cut or machined discs than as deep-drawing cookware circles.
6061 and 6082 are heat-treatable structural alloys used for machined discs, fixtures, base plates, spacers and engineering components requiring higher strength.
7075 aluminium is used for specialised high-strength machined components. It is not normally selected for deep-drawing applications.
