HE9 Aluminium is a heat-treatable aluminium–magnesium–silicon alloy known for its excellent extrudability, smooth surface finish, high corrosion resistance and good anodising response. It is commonly used for architectural profiles, window and door frames, electrical enclosures, furniture, railings, tubes and other components requiring complex shapes with a clean finished appearance.
HE9 is an older British designation commonly cross-referenced with Aluminium 6063, EN AW-6063, AA 6063 and UNS A96063. Because HE9 was principally used for extruded bars, tubes and sections, buyers should confirm the required product form, standard and temper before accepting a modern equivalent.
Solitaire Steel & Engineering LLP, based in Khetwadi, Mumbai, India, supplies and exports HE9 aluminium sheets, plates, pipes, tubes, coils, round bars, flat bars, angles, channels and customised extruded profiles. Material can be supplied in applicable tempers, standards, dimensions and finishes according to the buyer’s drawing, application and quantity.

|---|---|
| Thermal Conductivity | Approximately 200–218 W/m·K |
| Specific Heat Capacity | Approximately 0.90 J/g·K |
| Melting Range | Approximately 616°C–654°C |
| Thermal Expansion Coefficient | Approximately 23.4 µm/m·K |
| Property | Performance |
|---|---|

HE9 aluminium is suitable when the buyer requires:
HE9 is generally preferred over HE30 when profile complexity, appearance and anodising quality are more important than maximum structural strength.
| Selection Factor | HE9 Aluminium | HE30 Aluminium |
|---|---|---|
| Common Modern Grade | 6063 | 6082 |
| Primary Advantage | Extrudability and surface finish | Higher mechanical strength |
| Profile Complexity | Excellent | Good |
